After an all-night imaging session, I was packing up and saw this beautiful Sunrise happening, so decided to pause and take a photo. Venus is beautifully clear.
When I got home (after a snooze!) I had a look at the photo, and couldn’t work out what the extra white dot above Venus was. At first I thought it was Saturn, as I knew that Saturn was nearby. Checking in the amazing online and offline Stellarium software, which I highly recommended. Incidentally, there is an app for your phone/tablet, and a web version too.

It turns out it wasn’t Saturn at all, it was the International Space Station (ISS) photobombing my picture!
