Description
Date: 2008-01-16
Object: Messier 42 - Great Orion Nebula
Scope: Meade 10" LX200R
Camera: Canon 350D and Meade 0.63 Focal Reducer
Guide Scope: Williams Optics ZenithScope 66
Guide Camera: Meade DSI
Exposure: 30 seconds
Images: 24
Notes: A much better image, lots of vignetting with the FR, but the guidescope allowed a much longer exposure.
I plan to integrate the shorter exposure images into this one to remove the blown out core, and retain the majestic 'arms'
